This was the most relaxing weekend ever...hosts Anne and Frank couldn't have done anymore for us, the views are stunning. The room has everything and the log fire is just perfect. Breakfast was delicious and Franks cooking was superb, he made us a lovely evening meal!! They even organised a wine experience for us at a local winery! Loved this place and have booked to go back twice already!!

Frank and Annie are the perfect hosts; very welcoming, friendly and attentive to all needs. Amazing location; perfect views, secluded, peaceful and great for those who appreciate greenery, farming and animals. Beautiful room, large space and stunning decking views. Highly recommend Frank's spinach and feta omelette!! Nothing to dislike, highly recommended!

Bed is ridiculously comfy. Food is amazing. Property is absolutely beautiful. Stewie the Bull is gorgeous. Frank and Annie are amazing hosts. We will be back for sure. There was nothing we didn't like

High quality suite built as part of the main house, nothing 'cheap' about it, very attentive service from Frank and Annie. Excellent home cooked food and good value. Not too far from Melbourne for a weekend away, far enough to properly be in the country. Nothing for us. If you want bright lights, you are in the wrong place.

We made the booking with Acheron Rivers after doing a bit of research and reading the good reviews. We were really happy that our expectation were not only met but exceeded in every way! The accommodation was cosy, comfortable and has a stunning view. The host Frank and Annie are absolutely kind and generous, their pet Bacon is such a joy! The home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner options are divine, its all made from their local farm produce, tasted absolutely delicious and fresh. We had such a lovely time, almost felt homely, Frank, Annie, Bacon, Casper the Cat, the variety of chooks, cattle, the stunning garden, views, cosy property, divine meals, it is a country paradise! Thank you Frank and Annie for your passion in providing a first class genuine and warm country style hospitality. We are already planning for a second visit in Spring/Summer so will definitely get in touch soon!

We were delighted with our stay at Acheron Acres. Our expectations were exceeded in so many ways. Nestled under spectacular Cathedral Mountain near, we really enjoyed the farm setting in this beautiful part of Victoria, not to mention the immaculately kept gardens and wrap-around verandah; the comfortable and spotlessly clean room, bed and bathroom (with heated floors & roomy walk-in shower); the authenticity of hosts Annie and Frank; and perhaps most surprisingly, the incredible dinner and breakfast prepared by Frank & Annie using almost entirely home-grown, fresh ingredients. We look forward to treating ourselves again at this wonderful B&B.

Amazing!! From the moment you book your stay - you know you will be in for an wonderful experience- and believe me you are not disappointed. Annie Frank and Bacon are exceptional hosts with every effort put in to make your stay perfect. Room doesn't disappoint bar fridge well stocked and very reasonably priced. Franks food is amazing. Their suggestions on local attractions and assistance on planning the prefect day is invaluable- finished off with a dip in the pool. Evenings spent enjoying franks creations - based on your personal taste amazing dessert a drink on the balcony with your amazing hosts WE WILL BE BACK !!! Lars and Rob

Hands down the best place we have ever stayed! I couldn’t recommend this place more than enough, Frank and Annie were absolute legends and the food was absolutely amazing. Since we have been home we tried to make the same food as frank and it just doesn’t work... haha, I couldn’t suggest anywhere else over this. From the heated tiles to the fire pit to the beautiful scenery.. it was worth every penny... we wish this place was literally just down the road. We will be back for sure ! P.s FRANK PLEASE SEND ME THE RECIPE TO THE ITALIAN PASTA haha!!

Fantastic accommodation with everything we could have asked for, gorgeous location and property, and the most lovely and accommodating hosts. Frank's home cooked meals were sublime, the animals and gardens are gorgeous and the view of the Cathedral ranges is breathtaking. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back again.

We had a fabulous stay at Acheron Acres! We could not have asked for better hospitality from our hosts Annie, Frank & Bacon! We loved having a tour of the property, admiring the beautiful gardens and meeting the cows & chooks. The views are spectacular from every angle, which made our stay so relaxing and peaceful. The suite itself is SUPER clean & comfortable. We especially loved the cosy evenings by the fire, the comfy bed and the beautifully designed bathroom (heated bathroom tiles were so luxurious!!!). But our favourite part of our stay was our home cooked meals. Frank is quite the chef and blew us away with the amazing flavours in his cooking, with home grown fresh produce. Thank you Annie & Frank for your generosity & great chats & a special thanks to Bacon for greeting us every morning with cuddles. We hope to return one day & wish you well
